A different way to experience the city with Frank Licastro

Frank designs how spaces feel. FTN designs how movement feels. The Streetdog is where those meet.

As founder of Frank Developments, Frank Licastro is responsible for creating homes, neighbourhoods, and spaces that people connect with every day. Whether it's an apartment in Brisbane or a beachfront development on the Queensland coast, the goal is always the same: create places that improve the way people live.

"The motivating part for me is creating people's homes," Frank says. "Seeing them move into our finished spaces is something that's quite rewarding."

It's a philosophy we immediately recognised.

At FTN Motion, we spend a lot of time thinking about cities too. Not how they're built, but how people move through them. Because movement shapes our experience of a city just as much as the buildings themselves.

The streets we take. The places we stop. The freedom to move without friction.

We spent a day with Frank in Queensland to talk about design, mobility, and why the Streetdog became part of his daily life.

What drew you to FTN?

"What interested me about FTN as a brand firstly is the uniqueness of the product and what the guys set out to create. Their design is something that was very eye-catching for me. The craftsmanship is something that has a strong synergy with what we do.

"Also, the level of customisation that the guys allowed us to do was something very exciting. It's very similar to what we do from an off-plan purchaser's journey. The guys really take you on that journey and give you that freedom to be creative."

How does it fit into your day?

"The fast pace of my days — the ability to jump on the bike and go to site, duck down the road for meetings, go to cafes and have easy parking and access."

For Frank, that's what makes the Streetdog such a compelling tool for city life. It's quick, practical and perfectly suited to moving around town efficiently.

But functionality is only part of the story. As someone with a deep appreciation for design, Frank is drawn to products that are thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. The Streetdog's distinctive design means it looks just as at home outside a construction site, a client meeting or a neighbourhood café.

It's a balance Streetdog owners consistently appreciate: practical enough to simplify everyday commuting, and well designed enough to make every arrival feel intentional.
