Australia's newest ride is coming to Brisbane.

After a successful Melbourne and Sydney launches, and a run of packed test-ride events, the Streetdog — our handcrafted electric motorbike — is now officially available in Australia. In fact, our fourth container of customer orders is already on its way, and with a new base in Melbourne plus partners lined up along the east coast, things are just getting started.

The Streetdog is now rolling into Brisbane - come meet it in person.

Join us for our first-ever Queensland meet-up and get up close with the Streetdog. Check out the craftsmanship, chat with the FTN team, and see why riders across NZ and Australia are falling in love with this machine.

If you feel like taking it for a spin, you can book a test ride below - no pressure, just good vibes.

With two models available, there’s a Streetdog for every kind of rider. The Streetdog50 is perfect for urban explorers — rideable on a car licence in Queensland, effortless around town, and ideal for daily commutes or weekend loops. The Streetdog80 steps things up with more power, and a higher top speed, but does require a motorbike licence in Queensland.

Come say hi, bring a mate who loves good design, take the Streetdog for a spin, and have some free coffee on us from our amazing friends at Idle bakery.

Date: Saturday 13 December, 8–11am
Location: Idle Bakery, 84 Merthyr Rd, New Farm, Brisbane

Born in New Zealand

The FTN story began with two friends, Lukeand Kendall, in a New Zealand garage and a shared obsession: building the kind of electric motorbike they wished existed. Engineers Luke and Kendall wanted something different — a ride that blended simplicity, craftsmanship, and character into a category of its own.

What started as weekend tinkering on an old push bike became a full-blown passion project. Piece by piece, the Streetdog took shape: beautifully balanced, timeless in design, and engineered with a level of detail only two relentless blokes from down under could pour into it.

As word spread, the first riders came knocking. A handful of early beta bikes turned into a wave of pre-orders, and the small garage project grew into a dedicated workshop. To stay true to their vision of crafting each bike by hand, the team moved from Wellington to Hamilton and kept building, one Streetdog at a time.

Today, more than 250 Streetdogs are being ridden across Australia and New Zealand, each one a reminder of where it started: two friends, an idea, and a belief that the everyday ride could be something truly special.

Right at home in Australia

From inner-city streets to the coastal towns that shape the rhythm of Queensland, the Streetdog feels right at home. Lightweight, agile, beautifully balanced — it’s made for weaving through the city, rolling along the waterfront, and turning heads at every light.
